Dell España Servicio Tecnico

Well - now we are here - January 9, 2013 - thinking about this experience ( as we wait for our Dell Precision M-90 - to suddenly crash again - maybe ... ).


As we already wrote Dell has contacted us - we will add this page later.

Yesterday, the sound started to "warble". At first we had that familiar - "what did we do wrong" - sinking feeling - that one gets.

Imagine spending close to $3,000 on a computer that has a design defect. A TRUE LEMON !!

Then spending literally hundreds of hours and more - listening to the US Dell Technical Support Technicians and Dell España Servicio Tecnico --- as well as both country´s Customer Service - repeatedly trying to convince us that all the problems we were having with the entire group of hardware components -- was due to rather unconvincing reasons - examples of many:
  • "you have a virus",
  • "your Windows has become bloated with updates - we need to reinstall",
  • "you should buy an extended warranty ... looks like the graphics card ...",
  • etc. - etc. - etc. - etc.


We wondered why the Dell techs in the US and Spain did not help us diagnose the hardware.

Why did they make us waste so much time - instead of admitting this machine is a "lemon" and promptly send a new one ?



Now - today -- we think - - what is one hour of wasted time worth ? What could we have done in all those lost hours - for example ...
  • $120 - give a one hour figure skating lesson,
  • $400 - web design and optimizing by the hour,
  • $1,000,000 - a minute - at least - spending time with loved ones,
  • $5,000,000 - a second - helping someone in need,
  • etc. ...


We wonder how much one hour is worth - to Michael Dell - the 41st richest person in the world.

People actually admire someone - just because they have a lot of money !!

We do not. Been there. Done that.

Are we angry with Dell ?
Yes, Very.


Dell took our money - and would not recognize that the system is faulty.

We do hope these pages will prevent others from trusting Dell - their Computers - Services and other products.

Too many of us - just say "oh well" -- and move on.

Companies ( people ) like Dell are proliferating because they get away with what we have written within these pages.

Who said "you can not fool all the people all the time" ?




We did manage to re-date the dates on our 2010 website to 2013.

The new site has a fantastic new design - that we have not been able to work on - of course. Our computer keeps crashing - and failing ...

We began this new site in August 2011 - until the Dell Precision started freezing - with BSODs a month later. Had we been told then - that the system was faulty - we would have acted immediately. We trusted Dell.

The new web design has all the latest techniques - jquery - fixed navigation bars that roll up - music - auto scrolling buttons ... it is truly snappy - exciting.

Oh Well.

We will just have to eat a stock of our patented products, while we shop for a new - reliable computer.
