November 18 2011 - We phoned Dell in Spain for information about an extended Warranty for our Precision M-90. Our questions were:

  • WHAT THE WARRANTY INCLUDES EXACTLY ?
  • What is the Cost ?


To call DELL SPAIN cost 5.40 Euros/hour - to buy - and technical service !!! We spent a fortune (to be documented exactly) to date.


IT TOOK EIGHT DAYS TO NOT FIND OUT - ABOUT AN EXTENDED WARRANTY

IN SPANISH:
18 Noviembre 2011 - Pedimos información sobre una garantía - Dell España:
Llamar a DELL cuesta 5.40 euros/hora - PARA COMPRAR Y ASISTENCIA TECNICA !!!Lllamé a las xx horas (ver factura movistar).
Hablé con MADALINA-ELENA GEACA xx horas. Su nivel de inglés es un poco flojo y pedí seguir por email.
Mandé un correo 11.05 AM - de contacto - a MADALINA-ELENA GEACA para comunicarnos por escrito.

As we talked, I now send you the informations that you need, in 
order to extend the warranty.

First thing, this cannot be done on the internet, only one of the 
technicians can do it.For that, we need a Spanish customer number.
You already have a cust number, but it is not a Spanish one.That’s 
why, you can find a Spanish cust number or we can make one.For 
that we will need more informations, but we will discuss about it at 
the moment.

THE FIRST WARRANTY – NEXT BUSSINESS DAY – It’a a warranty 
that for a year costs about 40 – 150  euro.This warranty involves the 
next things :
-we will send parts, or technicians with parts at your place (depends 
on whether you can change the part by yourself or not)
-we can also send the computer to our laboratory to be fixed if there’s 
a problem with it

The warranty PRO SUPPORT – is not available for your computer.That 
is the reason why I was so late with the e-mail.Because we cannot offer 
this type of warranty.i confirmed it with my superiors.

NBD is the only warranty that can be offered and that includes this type 
of service – that the technician comes to your place.

around : 40-50 euros.But I cannot send an invoice something, 
because I need a Spanish Customer number.For this Spanish
