Remember - we first "re-phoned" about the erroneous warranty dates - this last November 20, 2012.
Mohamed Ibn Hachne - from "Grandes Cuentas" ( Big Accounts ) - wanted to know who had put us through to him. Of course we had no clue.
He told us to speak with Jose Angel Chakrouna. We emailed him. No response.

- I bought a ONE YEAR NBD WARRANTY - paid December 9, 2011.
- This Warranty was finally activated FEBRUARY 3, 2012.
- I asked for the 12 month warranty to be from the time it was activated (usable).
- Dell España refuses.

We decided to try again.
This time - after 34 minutes - with Anouar, Mohamed Mehdi - he said it was our fault that the NBD Warranty was not issued correctly, because we gave the wrong Service Tag Number. Of course, if you go to the first page - you see this is not true - the service tag was in their system since purchased in 2008.
We asked to speak with someone from the "Executive Dept". He answered - "we cannot give you information about a private dept.".
He asked for the same emails we had already re-sent multiple times to his department.
We asked for an email - from him - telling us exactly what they need - to expedite our request.

Our Dell Precision M 90 is heating up - top to the right - and had a BSOD stop this afternoon.
It worked fine all morning.

They are terrible. While you are in the middle of working on "whatever" - the computer suddenly stops and shows this story. Crash - all work not saved is lost.
Imagine being on our internet e-commerce site - selling a product to a customer from Connecticut - and BANG - the good old BSOD stops us cold. The dynamics of the sale is lost - we have to explain that we will phone back - and hopefully be able to complete the sale.
Oh Well.

Dell sent a tech to change the mother board ( again - they changed it 5 days ago ) and processor.
We took photos of the inside of our Dell Precision M-90. The technician did not have a clue as to why we were taking photos.
It is full of smoke spots throughout the inside - from the Dell Precision Workstation overheating.

Above you see all the new parts - remember, we began using this machine in April 2010. The new motherboard is re-furbished ( we took note ). We imagine that Dell recalls the changed parts to re-cycle them. LOOK

Bottom emptied of almost all parts - look at the heating marks throughout the entire computer. We will blow up some sections for your perusal. IT IS TOTALLY SCORCHED. We found more about the M90 scorched >> "An issue that Dell has never admitted. I might even call it a design defect."

REMEMBER - WE BEGAN USING THIS DELL PRECISION M 90 in Abril 2010 - 2 1/2 years ago:
- October 2011 - First the graphics card - burned out, then a
- New hard drive and
- CD - DVD Optical Unit replaced
- New Mother Board - the ventilator made a loud forced noise, the computer was heating up over the graphics card so
- New ventilator and
- "disipador" CPU, the computer heated again - ventilator forced noise
- Next the Mother Board, again - and
- New processor.

We suppose Mr. Dell would go bankrupt if he had to replace our Precision M 90 for a machine that does not heat up.
In other documents about how to handle questions around the faulty ... systems, Dell salespeople were told, “Don’t bring this to customer’s attention proactively” and “Emphasize uncertainty.”

Running in Circles for a Dell Refund
I have, today, received a full refund check from Dell for my XPS1530 purchased in January, 2008. This premium laptop was fully equipped with extras and had the nvidia defect. It had stopped working in May of this year. At first there were intermittent periods of malfunction and then in July the screen went dead. I attempted thru many telephone conversations with Dell to reach a mutually agreeable resolution but failed. Then I found this Forum and Paul ...
